Donut City

This project is inspired by the Royal Society of Arts’ ‘Moving Picture’ brief, about creating a motion work that accompanies Kate Raworth’s ‘Ambition City’ sound clips. How can our city be a thriving home to meet the needs of all people with limited resources? I use two metaphors in my work: 1) Donut: as our cities/planet/nature; 2) Sugar flakes: as the resource that goes in and out of human societies.
